Regular food supplements are produced in their simple chemical form, which is not how they are found naturally in our food. This means that our bodies do not recognize them or absorb then properly. What is a nutrient complex?

In nature, plants either absorb vitamins and minerals from the ground or produce them themselves. They are then combined with many other beneficial compounds to form a nutrient complex. Humans have evolved to eat plants and animals and as a result our bodies recognise, absorb and use these nutrient complex molecules. Traditional food supplements are made from use a simple chemical isolet, which the body struggles to recognise and absorb therefore very little nutrient value is gained because they just pass straight through the system.

How is Q-trition different?

Q-trition is designed to bridge the gap that regular food supplements have been unable to fulfill. To achieve this, we use S. Cerevisiae, a micro-organism that absorbs the simple chemicals and converts them into the nutrient complex that our bodies absorb so easily. S. Cerevisiae is then broken down leaving the vitamins and minerals bound to the other beneficial compounds as a nutrient complex. By the end of the process we have a nutrient rich food that we call Food State.
